  1. I live in Vegas.  The Hotel is part of, next to, Mandalay Bay.

  2. Yes, it's one of the last/if not the last casino before leaving the Strip,

  3. TheHotel is just a brand name for one of the towers of the Mandalay Bay. It would be considered by most people to be the extreme southern end of the strip.

  4. TheHotel is a part of the Mandalay Bay hotel, but it is made up of all suites.  In my opinion, if I could afford to stay at any hotel I wanted to while visiting Vegas, this would be it. (I tend to stay more toward $50/night).  Their standard suite has a separate living area with floor to ceiling windows, 42" plasma tv, mini-bar, in-room safe, and dual phone lines.  There is a 15" lcd tv in the bathroom and it has a separate glass enclosed shower and bathtub.  There is also a half bath.

By staying in the hotel you, of course, have access to all of Mandalay Bay's amenities also.  Their pool is one of the top pools in Vegas, and is made like a beach with real sand.  It has a wave pool, a lazy river, and a jogging track.  Imagine being at the water park of an amusement park.  There is also a 3 story poolside casino.

I have never stayed there, but I can guarantee you I have never heard one complaint about this hotel.  While other people have answered you that it is too far down the strip, it is really in the best location.  It is just about the last hotel on south strip before you get to the airport, but that only means it's a shorter taxi ride to get there from the airport when you arrive.  there is a free tram that takes you from Mandalay Bay to Excalibur, and then you are right across the street from MGM Grand, and it's a nice, scenic walk to all of the other hotels.

Here is a map of it's location

click on "The Strip (South)" tab and it will show you a bigger map.

I hope this helps!  And enjoy your stay!

  5. It is on the strip, it is closest to the airport, it is one of the best hotels, it is at one end of the monorail.

  6. Yes, it's on the strip. It's connected to Mandalay Bay.

  7. It is the last official hotel on the strip. It is actually a hotel within a hotel. Upscale and very nice to stay.

  8. Yes it is on the strip but it the last hotel on the strip. I would recommend staying toward the middle of the strip but it would cost more money.
