D-man took my answer. Eckstein is 5'7 which is shorter than alot of male pro athletes.

theres no height requirement, as long as you got skills it doesnt matter how tall or how short you are. Take a look at David Eckstein hes 5"7' but  still hes a great player

Sort of. Eddie Gaedel was hired by Bill Veeck for just that reason. Little people are not allowed, but other than that, I don't know of a specific height requirement.
