  1. Sure...laughter, hugs, smiles, sign language (in lots of cases), hissy fits, music, fear, freedom...to name a few

  2. A persons body language really does speak volumes. Far more then anyone can simply say. Phoenix is right too. The simplest and most effective tool for communicating positive thoughts is a smile.

  3. Mathematics.

    2 + 2 = 4.

Logic, abstract reasoning. As long as the person is capable of simple calculations, i believe these sort of "communication" is almost universal.

The "mathematical language" is limited, because people have different level of understanding when it comes down to mathematics(a novice, a mathematician -- how are they going to effectively communicate?)

Facial expressions and body languages can be deceiving and they could be perceived differently. To me, it is rather impure and not universal at all.

  4. Hugsss... a simple gesture that speaks for itself which is rendered to someone you care a great deal..

  5. When you tilt your head back, close your eyes, and spread your arms wide, everyone knows you're giving thanks.

  6. The one finger salute.

  7. Yes- it is called sign language.

  8. English.

  10. kissing

  11. The charm of a smile and the personality in one's eyes.  No matter who you are or where your from, everyone undestands what a smile means and what happiness or sadness is in the eyes of another.

  12. Math ... and Love, as sappy as the last may sound, love for mankind - fraternal love.

  13. I think a smile understands everyone =)

  14. I agree with Pheonix.

    Plus, the language of Silence.

  15. yes. music. doesn't matter what language you speak, music is something we all can understand.

  16. A yawn ought to be understood everywhere, maybe not only by humans.

  17. yes, the body language, smiles, signs of affection...

regardless of the language they use in life, everyone can understand gestures:)
