I am in my mid 20s....Is it far too late for HGH to have any effect on my growth?

  1. Absolutely too late. The use of growth hormone for constitutional short height has its effects only when you're actively growing, and has its most potent effects in childhood, less so in adolescence. Unless you have growth hormone deficiency, use in adult life increases the risk of cancer, diabetes and high blood pressure amongst other things.

  4. It's whether you've stopped growing that's the deciding factor.

    Once you stop growing in height, your 'long bones' lose the ability to stop growing.

    After that, any HGH will just make your 'short bones', and other features grow, which don't lose the ability. Some people overproduce growth hormones after puberty, and suffer from a condition called Acromegaly, which could be equivalent to taking HGH. They end  up with abnormally large hands, feets, noses and ears.
