Is There An Reason To Why In my Dreams Sometimes, It'll Change From My Point Of View, To Being Able To See My Self(and vice versa).

What's The Deal?

  1. It's not uncommon. When we dream we not sometimes who we are. When we see ourselves, it's just our mind looking at ourselves, and sometimes it seems like we are the camera. The reason could be that you are more in control of your lucid dreams. It is sometimes a way of looking to our emotional self than feeling it.

Don't know what you are dreaming about so, can't tell more than what it is.

  2. Wow. I'm surprised you didn't get an answer sooner. Oh that's right, most people just use dream dictionary sites... so I guess they didn't have any luck.

Anyways, what I'm about to say doesn't really count as an answer, it's really just my input.

You're very lucky to be able to see yourself in a dream. In all the dreams I've had up til now, I've only had one. I would assume that if you saw yourself (in 3rd person) that you would realize that you were in fact dreaming (unless you had a twin). Cause then it gets into the whole "hey that's me, wait I'm me... what's going on here?" Soon after you'd either wake up or take control of the dream.

I'm also a little curious about what dreams you have in 3rd person view as opposed to 1st person view. Are there scarier dreams in 3rd person view or happier ones?

Sorry for the questions it's just that you're the first one I've come across who has had both. Usually I just read a few where it's like "Every dream I have, I'm not in it." Nonetheless I must say this is quite interesting.
