  1. It's impossible to say because have only studied one planet.  If life started by chance then it's quite possible that we are the only planet where this incredibly unlikely sequence of events has ever taken place.

On the other hand it may be that life can start very easily by a process that we have yet to discover.

Our Universe is very big but does not go on forever.

However there is a theory that there are a very large number - or maybe an infinite number - of other "Universes" some containing life and others not.

This is sometimes called the Multiverse theory.

  2. You too

I've been looking for over a year If i have any look I'll give You a shout I claim first pick of the Women

    edit

Thumb down You don't like women Right

  3. The only correct scientific answer is, 'we don't know'! Within our observation of Universe we have not come across any planet or any object with evidence of life, let alone intelligent life.

    Can we reject possibility? No.

The only correct scientific answer is, 'we don't know'!

  4. There are probably 10 to the 40th power stars in the notionally visible Universe.  Even if only one in a billion stars has a planet like Earth there would be thousands of billions of Earth like planets.  It could be a smaller number or it could be bigger.

The chances are that if there is life on any of these Earth-like planets, it is only the local equivalent of bacteria.  For most of the history of life on Earth, the only life was single celled or casual associations of cells that could and did live independently.

Even if there were multi-celled animals, they might only be as smart as fish, dogs or monkeys, or not even that smart.  For most of the history of multicellular life on Earth, no animal was any smarter.

If there are intelligent beings, there is no guarantee that they have advanced as far as humans had 200 or 500 years ago.  For most of the history of humans on Earth, technology and science etc. had not got even that far.

So the chances of there being a space-faring civilisation anywhere else in the Universe seem pretty small.  There might be a hundred, there might be a million.  Even if there were a hundred million, these are not enough for one per galaxy.

So the chances of there being any other space-faring civilisation within tens of thousands of light years seem rather small.

  5. More than likely it's where you go when you exit this planet. There's not enough information on this though so I'm unable to tell you more about it,sorry.

  6. Almost certainly. There are such a huge number of stars in the universe it would be most unlikely no others have a solar system with planets that can and do support life as we know it.

Unfortunately it is also extremely unlikely we will ever discover or be discovered by one.

  7. like were so special to be the only things in existance, of course there are, probably better ones aswell.

    Edit_

i like the way some people are so stupid they try to make you feel it too. 'if you believe in ET and ALIENS' dont make me laugh. probably the same person that thumbed everyone down.

  8. Yes it's definitely possible

  9. It depends on what you mean.  Life is probably fairly common.  Intelligent life is probably VERY uncommon. Life resembling us and a world resembling Earth are nearly impossible.  Forget it.

  10. Yes. Thee are three exactly unknown to man until now. They are however very far away and use a different means of communication so understanding will take time. They can time travel and transport from one planet to another.

  11. i like to think so, theres billions and billions of light years of space, we cant be the only ones. scientists think that Mars was gonna turn out sort of like earth but when all the volcanos on earth stpped eurpting, the ones on mars didnt ohwell we could of had neighbours well thats my opinion anyway :D

  12. It is possible ,but the distance is so great that it is near impossible to communicate with them.

  13. I think so, our planet is on the outer edges so close the the galactic core there could be many a lot older than us

There is even the theory that we ourselves have been created by such beings long ago with genetic manipulation.

Its still viable as we cant really explain exactly how we got from ape to where we are right now.

No one still knows what that missing link is

This is very recent, but the earth set up is not unique to us and could even be fairly common

Oh ,dear, I think some in this section cant handle the notion of more intelligent life out there, whats the matter it hurt your pride?  We have NO idea so dont tell me the chances are slim. And as for the word impossible, have you seen technology in 1000 years time? No? shut up then

  14. There is a 99.99999999% chance that there is other life in the universe, and that percentage is still increasing today.

  15. The best and only reasonable solution to the Fermi Paradox is that we are the ONLY show in the town... sorry kid. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fermi_parad...

But if you just HAVE to believe in ETs and UFOs, they have something special in store for you soon. Google/youtube: "Project Bluebeam"

Type III 'Aliens' just in time for 2012! Many will be fooled...

Later, ask yourself how we knew in advance:

    2 Thessalonians 2:10-13

    Just do NOT accept this:
