You might like  Death Note if you're looking for something dramatic. I say it's more of a psycholocial thriller.

If you're looking for a drama, Zettai Kareshi is a pretty good drama. As is Hana Kimi. As for anime, I would recommend Vampire Knigh and OUran High School Host Club.

I agree with Katie C, Death Note is really good mystery kind of anime, as well as Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni (also a second series- Higurashi no Naki Koro Ni Kai)

Anything by Hayao Miyazaki, he was called the Japanese Walt Disney for his work. Try Princess Mononoke, or Spirited Away.

if you looking for anime drama i recommended a "Myself;Yourself" its really dramatic because all of veiwers are made it cry even if you are a guy and i'm also cried in that anime especialy in the episode 8.
