You know, I paid to hear the performer sing the songs, not a group of 17 year old girls.

  1. Yes, when the performer holds the microphone out to the audience to ENCOURAGE them to sing! I paid $100 to see the band or artist sing, not to hear the audience sing.

  2. Yes, there are things in life more irritating than that. Ever had to re-file a tax return for your own business, kid?

Back on topic - when you go to a "concert" you should know you really aren't listening to a performer as much as a digital voice correcter/enhancer somewhere.

  3. Hey you paid for the concert, they paid for the concert...shoot, If I paid over $50.00 to see someone live and decide to sing along...I'm going to sing along...you're a fan just as much as they are fan.....going to more than one concert, it is expected that people will sing along...it doesn't happen through the entire show...but what the h**l, it's a rock show not the opera.....if you don't like don't go becuase it's going to happen regardless...

  4. From a performer's standpoint, I can tell you that nothing juices up the band more than a very enthusiastic group in the audience that is singing along with the songs... you start playing to them because you are getting instant feedback on your performance.
