Hi Adam, do you have any experience of Kayaking?  I very much doubt in this day and age of litigation that any organisation would lend/hire you equipment to go out unless you have a recognised certificate of compedence.

Bewl Water is very close to Tunbridge Wells so I'm not sure if it is Kent or East Sussex.. but either way its close to the border.

Southwater water sports park is quite nice + they have a hire shop there as well. Although as mention before you will need some sort of proof that your experienced. You may be able to hire a coachthere  though ?
