  1. yes its called wifi stack or dongle

as long as you have wireless signals in your house space

  2. A USB wifi card will work for both desktops and notebooks.  Most notebooks 3 years or newer will have wifi built right in.  If your notebook has wifi built right in, you probably just need the wireless router.

Check out this video before you decide to go wireless:

Click to play button to start the video.

You still need wireless for roaming devices.  You do not need wireless if devices are stationary.

  3. yes, get one of those 49 dollar psp or nintendo ds wifi things, it creates a 100 foot hotspot from the host wired connection. cheaper to get wireless adapter though.

  4. Its called a USB wireless adapter. looks like a thumbdrive. They are also called wireless dongle.

  5. Hi,

"Yes" all you need is a WLAN USB Adapter and then install the software that should come with it and bingo you are connected, the best on around is this on, just follow the link. this should solve your problems for about £30.

  6. Yes, I have one it's called the wifi max, it can create a hotspot or pick up the signal but I wouldn't recommend it, the installation is h**l. You're better off buying a router, it's worth the money trust me.
