Is There a Driver For the Jvc Camera GRd72?

i read online that the Jvc camera model # GRD72 is a big bug and doesn't work meaning you cant put the video you taped onto the computer is that true. If so where can i get a driver and what is another way to get it on the computer just to let you know i'm using USB.

The JVC GRD72 is a miniDV based camcorder and works just fine if you have the right supporting connections.

As a miniDV based computer, transferring video from the MiniDV tape to your computer happens when you use a firewire cable connecting the DV port of the camcorder to the Firewire (IEEE1394a, i.Link) port of your computer - Not USB.

USB is used only to transfer stills from the memory card.

If you don't have a firewire port on your computer, install one. Once you get that working, importing the video from that camcorder will be fine. You do not need any camera drivers if you have a working firewire port.
