Is There a base for a shower floor that i can put down that is tile ready?

I want tile a shower that i am building but i do not want a plastic base

Yes there are several tile ready shower bases on the market.  They ain't cheap though.

When you tile a shower floor, typically you pack the floor with sand, install your shower liner, install the drain, and then float the floor with mud, then tile.  In order for the shower to drain properly you have to slope the floor.  I do not recommend using cement board as your floor.  Your tile will not lay properly and your shower will not drain well either.

If it is a stand up shower then Schluter makes a kit that  has everything needed to put the shower floor down and have it sloped already. All you do is put it down and tile over it. Company name is Schluter and will most likely need to be special ordered.  should be available through A home center

there are two that come to mind, one is a concrete backer board that comes in 3x4 sheets about 3/4" thick that you cut to fit then cover with tile cement and attach the tiles, the other is common blue board, but that does not have any structural strenght of its own .   if you use marine grade plywood as a structural base you could use straight thinset concrete in a waterproof mix, and go up from there.  the plastic is a lot cheaper and quicker takes pressure and temperature variation well, not as cold or clammy as tile, rarely leaks as a loose tile will, good luck

If You are in the UK there is a cement based board that you an use and tile directly on top it is rot proof and make an ideal base it is about 12mm thick and come in 900 x 600panels available from B&Q remember you will need to buid in a 'fall to drain the water. Alternativly there are resin undertile trays available with a built in fall how ever these are quite expensive but come complete with trap and will give you the falls you need to produce a wet room shower.
