Is This A Good Idea??? Please Read?

See i have 2 freinds and we all love to cook.. so here is an idea

We are haveing a brunch in for familey and freinds and here is the plan...

we will charge $2.00 or more then addmission gets you an entree, appitizer, desert,drink and exelent waitor service( our sisters that we teach good maners) i have grass in my whole front yard so we are gonna put up a canopey for shade then you sit on beach blankets. me and my 2 freinds are the chefs so the waitor brings you a menu and you can order an entree, appitizer, dessert and a drink( free refils)

this is our basic menu...

Appitizers

. french bread with our spices and oils for dippin sauce

. veggies and ranch

Lunch

. chicken spinich surpream ( my special recipe of noodles and spinich and chicken based.)

. French Toast

. sweet mazerella sticks ( cheese dipped in a mixture of cinnomon, sugar, salt, water and more to create a paste then when soaked in that rolled in garlic cinnomon bread crumbs.

desert

. Homemade ice cream(vanilla)

. fried waffle cream cake

. coolwhip soft serve

. Hot Brownie al la mode( hot warm brownie out of the oven served with cold ice cream)

Drinks

. Countrey sweet tea

. Sodas

. ice water

. Shakes ( Chocolate banana flip, chocolate, vanilla, cookie.

Kids menu

. grilled ham flip.( ham cheese flipped over on texas toast)

. pb and j flip ( pb and jelly flipped over texas toast)

. Butter garlic noodles( Secret Recipe)

Any suggestions to change or is it good?

There are some good ideas, bad ideas and things I don't know.

For $2 per head you are going to loose a fortune.

I will skip the appetizer.

For lunch I will have the chicken. (the other two are more of a snack than a lunch.

For a desert I would have ice cream.

A cuppa would be fine, but sugar substitute.

A suggestion for an appetizer would be what we call a Mouse Trap.

Cut slices of buttered toast into fingers lightly sprinkle with grated cheese and bake in a slow oven until the cheese has melted and the toast is crunchy.

Allow to cool, and eat cold.

(these will keep for several days in an airtight container.)

i think that sounds great! i would definitely come! just one question...why french toast for lunch? and you might want to add something else to the lunch menu. especially if this is for adults. something with meat. but it all sounds good!

Sounds fine - just please make the spelling on your menus correct OK? There's really no excuse for spelling like that.

yeh it sounds like a good idea. sounds like it would be fun for you and your friends, too.

you could probably charge more than $2 though, for all that you a serving. you want to make sure you charge enough to cover all the costs of the food you will have to buy.

also, before you make this into a menu, i would suggest you have someone look over it for spelling mistakes. (not being mean here, but i saw quite a few)
