I want to open up a site called Recipea (re-ci-pee-ah)

It will have loads of recipes for everything and you can even submit recipes.

Is it a good idea???

I think it's a great idea.  You will learn a lot of new skills and it's something you could even put on a collage or job application some day.  Since there are a lot of recipe sites out there you may want to think of how you can make your site different and unique.  Since you're in 7th grade, maybe you can gear your website to other kids in middle and high school or just kids who like to cook.  You may want to do a search for other sites with a similar topic to see what they are missing.  I have a recipe web site my self, www.makedinnereasy.com  and I really enjoy helping other people figure out what to make for dinner.  I wish you good luck on your new adventure!
