Question:

Is This A Good Job For Me?

Hey, I know a lot about diet and fitness, I often answer questions here, I've actually had 3 Top Contributor accounts for Diet & Fitness in the past, but my accounts were suspended without any reason, I did not break any rules whatsoever.

I was wondering, would a gastroenterologist be a good job for me? Does it require knowledge of diet & fitness?

  1. no not that much u need to study the body chemistry biology more than anything i had to go see one of them they look inside ur stomach well they did for me sometimes they look in intestines and they look for disorders how to fix them and stuff diet fitness id say personal trainer or doctor of some sort like more on the  check up doctors not surgeons u know but u still gotta go to school..i wanna be a nutritionist maybe ud look into that?

  2. My sister actually manages a gastroenterolgy center. It deals a lot with people's intestinal problems and stuff like that of course. Have you thought about doing some personal training at a local gym? I think that would be a good idea. But, as a career, I'd say do whatever makes you happy. If it's gastroenterology, then go for it! Good luck! -Randy

  3. Diet and fitness? Not really. It requires a a lot of study in med school and the ability to look up people's bums and then do a lot of delicate surgery. You are going to be dealing with a lot of people who have chronic problems and cancer. "You need to squat and get more protein in your diet" is not what these people need.

  4. It requires to be a physician trained in the disorders of gastrointestinal system.
