Is This A Good Skin Care Routine???

okay once a day i exfoliate with a mixture of cetaphil and sugar.

then after i exfoliate i wash my face with regular soap, then right after i wash with soap, use phisoderm anti-blemish cleanser.

then i tone with some regular rubbing alcohol

then i moisturize with a mixture of cetaphil lotion and clean and clear 0.5% salycic acid.

then do the same thing at night except without the sugar scrub, and i start out with just using cetaphil by itself.

so is that a good skin care routine, and if i kept it up could it get rid of acne, acne scars, and blackheads?

thanks in advance!!!

  1. Dont exfoliate everyday.  Do it 2-4 times a week at the most.

Also, it doesn't sound like you're moisturizing enough.  Try to find a great moisturizing face mask (it doesn't have to be expensive) and try to incorporate it into your routine about 1-2 times a week.

    Good luck!

  2. never use alcohol in your face. it dries up skin.

  3. don't ever rub alchohol again. And you use too much chemicals which u shd'nt

  4. Never use alchohol, it dries your skin. Cetaphil is good by itself. And ways to prevent acne is never touch your face unless you have washd your hands. Soap and water will do plain ol' fine.

  5. no no noooo, the alcohol is not good for your face at all, and you are doing so much things that your skin is going to dry up. I f i were you i would just stick to something basic and simple, or maybe even like a neutrogena 3 step kind of thing.

    hope this helps!
