Is This A Good crested gecko set up?

hydrometer gauge

temperature gauge

water dish

fake vines

food dish (crested gecko diet)

calcium dish

fake plants

basking lamp?

is there anything im missing? do i really need a basking lamp? if the 10 gallon is not good i will use a exo terra all glass terrarrium 12 x 12 x 12

  1. It sounds really good but i would make sure one of the vines were kind of close to the light so it can bask easier.(or get a little branch it can crawl up to.)

  4. cool, but i will warn you mine will not eat the crested gecko diet. I have to mix it with baby food. also you might want to mix the calicum with you baby food to make sure he is eating it insted of having it seprete.  I DO NOT recommend

    basking lights, moon glow, or red nocturnal lights. These lights even in low wattages get way too hot and tend to

    heat the enclosure to unnatural temperatures. As long as you do not let your home dip below 65 or above 85 you are in the safe zone. Crested geckos accually get stressed at higher temperatures. THey are not active during the day so they do not bask.
