Question:

Is This Behavior Normal For My Two Parakeets?

I have two parakeets, and Angel is pecking the whole entire face of Nemo constantly, and Angel's pecking is hard. I'm worried she might pick of the feather's of Nemo :( Then both of them bite eachother's face (In a friendly way, like a lot of birds do). When they are biting eachother, Nemo backs away in the corner of the cage. And Angel is being very dominant of the two, sometimes not letting Nemo eat nor drink). And they are constantly screaming at eachother. What should I do?

  1. SEPERATE THEM QUICK BEFORE THE DOMINANT ONE KILLS THE OTHER ONE AND BELIEVE ME IT WILL HAPPEN I KNOW :(

  2. Angel will kill Nemo if you leave them together, separate them

  3. If they really are fighting then separate them, guess they are not compatible.  You might put the cages next each other and see what happens.  Some birds can be really aggressive. No sense waiting till one draws blood.

  4. That is not normal, there is being so much violence between them. Separate them until is too late and the dominant kills the other one. It can really happen.

  5. Do you know if they are the same s*x?? If so this could be the problem-get them apart asap!!!!!

  6. This is not normal. You should seperate them immediately. If the Nemo cannot eat or drink, she could die. Angel is being very dominant. You should seperate them.
