The second word is not German, was not and will never be. Tausend means thousand and Staub in German means the dust.

I don't speak German but I checked a translator and this showed up:

thousands meihan dust?

"tausend" does indeed mean "a thousand", and "Staub" means "dust", reading it, I had the impression that maybe, if the word in the middle is slightly mis-spelled but in a way that makes it sound like another word - "Meilen", then it would translate to:

a thousand miles of dust,

and I guess this makes sense, right?
