Well, that playhouse is certainly large enough, but it is WAY too large. That is for a ferret, rat, rabbit or another large animal.  You would rather have a small, which they do come in. I have a smaller version for my gerbils.  The X-Large wouldn't fit in a normal sized hamster cage.  Keep an eye out for the smaller versions.  Not only would they fit better and be a nice little hide out for your fur kid, but the smaller version would end up saving you some money so that you can purchase another when it gets gleefully demolished. =)

Yes that would be fine. It is an XL so if you have a small cage, like a habitrial/crittertrail or 10 gal tank it will be far far to large. A 20 gallon tank or bin cage will fit it nicely.

If you have a cage that fits it with room enough for the wheel,water bottle,food dish and still running room then go for it! If not you may want to get one in a smaller size.
