  1. Yes it seems "safe" to eat for vegetarian purposes but it is not really all that good for ANYBODY. It's sounds more like a chemical cocktail than food. Vegetables stocks are easy to make and freeze well. Why don't you try that next time.

  2. The ingredients are animal free, but its mostly chemicals....

  3. Nothing on that list jumps out at me as being non-vegan

Silicon dioxide is questionable for your health.

    "colours" can potentially be animal-sourced.

Disodium ionsinate and disodium guanylate can be safe, or not. One source of the latter is dried fish.

Honestly, I advocate avoiding packaged foods with ingredients you can't pronounce and have no idea where they came from. The major ingredients in that "stock" are salt and sugar anyway, which we normally don't need much of.

You can make some veggie soup stock yourself quite easily.

  4. no, it is all veggie, but the MSG in it is really bad for your health

    try Pacific Organic vegetable stock

    http://www.pacificfoods.com/products-bro...

it is not that much more expensive than regular, but it is organic and doesn't have MSG. I use it for my pesto and butter bean soup...yummy

I buy it in Kroger or Meijer

  5. disodium ionsinate is prepared from meat extract, but its not really something to boycott because of several reasons, which you can see here: http://www.caringconsumer.com/resources_...

so just eat the vegetable stock.

look out for things containing gelatin, beef fats (hostess snacks has alot of it),  collagen, marine oils, and rennet (in some cheeses, but usually there will be an asterik* by it and at the bottom of the wrapper it will usually say non-animal source or something simalar)

oh and if your not into animal testing either, dont eat mars candy (m&ms, skittles, starbursts ect)
