Is ThreatFire a legit program?

Question

Does anyone know if this program is legit? I want to download it, but I want to make sure it's not spyware or something.

Bonus question: Is the program worth downloading? Is it good?

It's practically a heuristic malware detector - it detects malware by their behaviour, before the AV companies have detected the type and made a cure for it. All the top AV's (NOD32, Kaspersky, BitDefender) have it. If you run one of the above Threatfire is not necessary, all you is get a less powerfull new one. In fact you only need it if you connect to dangerous sites or infected pc's

It works very well but for the average user it's not needed
