  1. In my opinion Yes!

  2. ERA is the best, I read that somewhere, and it does get the stains out the best for me, along with oxy clean spray on the spots before I run the cycle

  3. Sometimes it's worth it to use a more expensive product be it Tide, Era, Wisk, etc. I like them for my whites and light colors as they seem to do a better job at removing stains. I buy a cheaper product to use for bedding, towels, darks, etc.

  4. As far as getting stains out, I like Tide or Era.  I switch back and forth between those two.  I have used ALL as well, and I liked it for doing my kid's clothes when they were babies because they have the perfume & dye free and it was MUCH cheaper than Dreft, but I like Tide better overall  because I like the way it smells.

  5. I once did a comparison of Tide vs Purex (which is another budget brand), and the only difference between the two soaps is that Tide has those stain boosting enzymes for getting out ground-in dirt. If you live on a farm, or work in a machine shop, or have a job in which your clothes are forever getting filthy, than "Yes", Tide is worth it. However, if your clothes don't get THAT dirty (and most of us fall in that category) then something like All or Purex is just fine.

  6. no, actually consumer reports said that purex does just fine and it is WAY cheaper than tide.  i use it and it does a great job.  hope this helps!

  7. Only if your clothes are very dirty. ALL is fine for normal laundry without grease, grass stains, etc.

  8. NO

There is one made by Arm & Hammer that deserves attention,  BIODEGRADEABLE, made from plants/flowers or something natural, good for the environment, and I don't even need any fabric softener !  Laundry is more convenient, and I save the environment and my wallet from having to use fabric softeners, it comes out smelling good and soft enough.

I still use Tide occasionally, but most of the time use the environmentally friendly one instead.

  9. Tide is a good detergent for sure, but i have used detergents 1/4 the price that do the job. i have used xtra that is around $2.50 a jug with hot water and it did great. with any of them, including Tide i still need bleach for whites and sheets etc. i have 3 jugs of tide on the shelf and i have xtra, and purex, so if you want to test, hit me back, lol.

  10. I think Tide smells better but in my experience they clean the same.

  11. ohhhh
