  1. yes he will be there and most likely win it.

  2. No - here is his published schedule.  As the above answer correctly said he can alter his schedule at short notice.  http://www.accenture.com/Global/About_Ac...

  3. He will be there almost undoubtedly, he usually plays most of the major events.

  4. You've received answers that are all over the place. I'll answer your question first and then address the contradictions and correct the errors.

Woods will NOT play in the AT&T Classic at TPC Sugarloaf on May 15-18. He's competed in the event just once, winning it in 1998. Although he had already won his first major by then, he was still testing which golf courses he liked and best fit his schedule.

Woods' schedule is about as predictable as anyone's in the world. He's earned that luxury and can always add tournaments whenever he wants but he rarely plays three weeks in a row. He'll compete at the Wachovia and then at THE PLAYERS in the two weeks leading up to the AT&T Classic. So, only an unprecedented series of events would force an entry at Sugarloaf.

Meanwhile, tigerwoods.com is a fine site but no golfer follows his published schedule to perfection. Right now, there aren't any events on Tiger's schedule (on the web site) between the Masters and U.S. Open. So, golf fans must rely on independent published reports and Woods' historical commitments.

Also, there is no major in the Atlanta "area." The Masters is held in Augusta, Georgia, 150 miles due east.

And THE PLAYERS Championship isn't held at East Lake. It's contested at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. East Lake GC hosts THE TOUR Championship.

Finally, just to give you a broader perspective on Woods' schedule, the only event on which he wavers annually is the Northern Trust Open, held at Riviera CC, where he's never won on the PGA Tour. During this year's Buick Invite, he was asked if he'll enter the Northern Trust and he didn't confirm or deny his intent. When Woods doesn't confirm or deny something, that means he won't be there or do it. If he was planning on playing in the AT&T Classic, it would span at least two news cycles and you'd most certainly have heard about it.

  5. Tiger's only trip to Atlanta is normally the Players Championship at East Lake.  I cannot remember the last time he played Sugarloaf.  There are select tournament that Tiger is guaranteed to play in.  Those tournaments are posted on his website www.tigerwoods.com.  If he plays are Sugarloaf, I think it will be a last minute decision.  His primary reason for playing is because AT&T sponsors his tournament.  But then again, he doesn't play all of the Buick sponsored events either.
