Question:

Is Tiger still getting better, as compared to the competition? Or just as good as he always was?

I get the sense he's about to go into a phase where we're all amazed even more than before that anyone could be so dominant.

  1. he is getting better and i would like to say well done for being a great player,............................ but it obvious hes going to win , unless some youngster ( rory mcillroy ) comes up and kciks his *** which personally i think he will do !

    GO RORY !!!!!!!

  2. It seriously is, in my opinion, fun to watch. I am not sure if you guys have heard this but people have said that your local amateur player who wins all kinds of tournaments is 15 strokes off what a touring pro would be and then you go to Tiger who is just that much better?? Unbelievable.

He is still getting better, there is no doubt. Any other pro who wins in his post round interview says, "Oh what a great week I had. Some putts dropped for me this week." Tiger says, I have stuff that I need to work on.

  3. Yeah, he's getting better, but he's still got a long way to go.

  4. He's definitely better than ever, because he's always THERE. There are no more 'Tiger in the Woods' jokes, and the swing change controversy has also been laid to rest.

Tiger is now expected to win a golf tournament(s) before the first ball is struck.  It's especially amazing because of the differences in golf courses and conditions.  The ability to adapt to situations is another reason why Tiger is the best that golf world has ever seen.  I'm enjoying every minute of it!

  5. He is improving.  He used to be a little wild with the driver off  the tee - at Torrey this past weekend he hit about 85% of the fairways off the tee.  He seems like he really expects to win when he shows up at a tournament.  All the tour players say they want to win - but I'm not sure they all believe they will.

  6. He's getting better...when he's in the field, I truly expect him to win now...he only loses if he beats himself..no one's even close to him and I'd love to see him get the Grand Slam this year...if he wins the Masters, the US open is at Torrey Pines where he dominates and his confidence, which is always high, will be even higher going into the British Open where he can tailor his game for any conditions..then it's all but done at the PGA at Okland Hills...can't wait ot watch...

  7. He is 5 for 6 in his last tourneys........better

  8. BETTER AND BETTER I AGREE

  9. The amazement will cease to exist after Tiger breaks all the records on the Senior circuit and he retires.

  10. He has reached a point where he has unlocked doors that others are still trying to find.  These doors that he has opened in his game improvement are what separates him from the competition and will enable him to improve even more, thus further widening the gap in abilities between him and the rest.  Because of this we will definitely see him improve more as he progresses throughout his career.  The main areas that he will improve on will be his distance control with his irons and his scoring consistency.  His Vardon scoring average hereafter will consistently be one to one and a quarter strokes better than the player below him.

  11. Getting Better

  12. I believe Tiger is getting better and better. Which is scary if you're his competition. Tiger has had so many distractions in the recent years but his game seems to be better than ever. He just destroyed the Buick Invitational this week-end. I believe Tiger is in leauge of his own and good luck to those who come across the beast. On a side note if he isn't getting better  then his competition then are getting worse. Which means over 100 guys are going down hill. That's a joke.

  13. i believe tiger is still getting better

this is because the cpmetitors are still getting better so for him to be blowing away the competition he has to be getting better

  14. no he is getting better but the other guys  just suck....but golf is was boring to me now to watch ...there is no competetion..he has basically killed the tour....no one has a chance
