Absolutely yes.  Who cares if he doesn't have the most PGA Tour wins yet.  Who cares if he hasn't caught Nicklaus' 18 majors yet.  Tiger no longer needs statistics to back up whether or not he was better than Nicklaus, Palmer, Hogan, Jones, Snead, etc.  All you have to do is watch him play to see his pure dominance over the sport.  He mentally beats his opponents before he ever even tees off.  There has never been an athlete in history that has exuded such dominance over his competitors and sport like Tiger does.  Plus, Tiger is dominating in an era where the competition is much greater than it was back in Nicklaus and Palmer's day.  He is far and away the greatest golfer ever.

I do believe Tiger is the best ever.  He hasnt quite caught some of Nicklaus' records but barring injury, he will.  And he is far ahead Jacks pace at his age.  And he has racked up these wins against far deeper competition than Jack did, although nobody wants to believe that.  Jack in his prime vs. Tiger?  I'll take Tiger 5.5 times out of ten.
