a place overrun with unfortunate hookers, excessive drinking, murder.. etc etc. i dont think its happy at all

Tijuana isn't all it's cracked up to be, but it's right across the boarder and people who can drink in the states can drink on the other side. As for the happiest place on earth...check out Queenstown, New Zealand or Bangkok, Thailand.  That's where I have the most fun, but if you can't get that far try hitting Peurto Vallarta, Mexico.

What the heck makes you say that - it's an absolute pit full of pharmacists, massage parlours and dentists shops interspersed with a few bars - It's like the third world without the class - never wanted to leave a place so quickly after arriving in my life.
