Is Trabzon a conservative city or a typical Turkish city?

My Turkish friend says that the black sea is conservative but when I went Trabzon looked like a modern city just that more women wear hijab than Istanbul (I think)

How is Trabzon compared with cities in the South East?

Trabzon is a conservative city but it doesn't mean that every women wear hijab. life-style in trabzon is more traditional than istanbul, but more modern than south east. sout eastern citties r quite beautiful to see, but dont forget that sout east region is the most backward region of Turkiye.

its not like antalya or izmir but its modern than most of the other cities in turkey.

It's more conservative than other cities. In fact whole Black sea region is like this.

Trabzon is a predominantly conservative city.

It is a beautiful city, it is not poor, has a unique culture, colorful landscapes and warm people etc., but it is conservative. But not conservative like a typical city from a 3rd world country, more or less conservative like Sicily.
