I'm 5'6 1/2 and I'm slim weighing 115 pounds. I'm 13 years old. I played basketball since 7th grade, and I'm pretty good at it. I can shoot pretty good but my coach has me playing forward. Well lately Ive been thinking about running track. Last year my coach asked me to run cross-country but I said no. So today I ran 100m and the first time I got 10.38 seconds and the second time I got 10.13 seconds. Ive never ran track before. Is this good? Should I stick with basketball or should I give track a try?

  1. You are a liar.

    If you got 10.13.

    i will kill myself

  2. try find out exactly how long that was (as exact as you can)

100m is a long shot with a time like that

  3. i don't think that was 100m. that's unbelievable. you would be competing in the olympic mens 100m. make sure you mark out the 100m carefully and time it again. cuz i remember one time i timed myself running 9.3 but i actually ran 80m so that's a big difference. it never hurts to try. my mom made my sister do track and she ended up being sectional state champion.

  4. Yeah Cheryl I think track is your sport, because at 13 you would have won the womens Olympic 100m final by a landslide with that 10.13.

  5. are you sure you ran a 10.75 or watever you ran cause the world record for womens 100m is a 10.49 by flo jo

go on a track field and run 100m ( the whole straight part) then see wat u get lol

  6. HAHA. If you ran that fast you'd be an Olympian. Maybe you ran 75m or something.

    Try running a real 100m.
