Is Transformers gonna be released on Blu-Ray anytime soon? now that HD-DVD is obsolete now?

Is Blu-Ray ever gonna release Transformers on Blu-Ray? So far it's only available on HD-DVD, but now that HD-DVD is dead now, are they gonna release it on Blu-Ray?

The only thing they are trying to do at this point is determine a suitable schedule. Studios realize that they get more sales when the movie is first released so they have to stage the releases so they don't all come out at the same time. remember there are still new releases to deal with. so you will see them all released eventually. The movies that will probably be released first on Blu-Ray are the hottest ones unless they can tie in a promotional event. For example they might wait on Bourne if they know a new Bourne film is being released in a year so they can cross promote the releases. This is a real possibility with Transformers because the first did so well and a second is in the works.

You can expect Transformers to be released on blu-Ray by the end of summer at the latest. Since all HD-DVD production is coming to a halt March 4th for Paramount, March 11th for Dreamworks, and March 18th for Universal. The studios are going to be turning to Blu-Ray releases pretty fast, if they are not releasing movies they aren't making money. They are just trying to finalize their release schedule which we can expect to see an announcement in the next couple of weeks regarding their schedules. Paramont knows how popular Transformers was on HD-DVD and they will be looking at making money off of it in Blu-ray.

There is no release dates for any Blu-Ray titles from them. Paramount and Universal is playing catch up now. I don't see any listed new titles coming on Blu-rays from either camp.

March 4 is there official last day to release HD-DVD's.They haven't announce any date to start Blu-Ray production.

If there smart they should be printing Transformers right now and make it there first new release after coming back to Blu-Ray.
