Is Tricky Trickster ready for the National? He’s only a seven-year-old and a seven-year-old hasn’t won the race since Bogskar back in 1940.

He’s already jumped round Cheltenham to win the four-miler at the Festival last year – so you know he stays. He’s going to have a run in the Gold Cup, so that should sharpen him up. The biggest problem is Paul Nicholls’ lousy record in the National.
