  1. Yes! Yes!! Yes!!! Yes!!!! Yes !!!!!

    Of Course.......................

  2. Yep yep, we have the largest, strongest, economy in CARICOM.

We supply the US with 70% of their LNG imports, we are the largest exporters of ammonia in the world, and we have a strong currency.  We are a very prosperous nation!!! ☺

  3. i think so because from the slavery and music because trinidad was the first country in the caribbean that had music and thing

  4. Trinidad and Tobago is the only country in the Caribbean that exports the most goods to many countries in the world.

US, Brazil, Gabon, Venezuela, Colombia, Grenada, Barbados, Jamaica, Spain, Dominica, Guyana, Montserrat, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Suriname, etc...

Many countries in the Caribbean base they economy on Trinidad, importing the majority of their goods from there.

Trinidad also has the major trading port in the Caribbean connecting to Miami. (FTAA)

Thanks to petroleum and petroleum-based products, Trinidad and Tobago is by far the most important exporter of goods to other CARICOM members.

Trinidad has the tallest skyscrapers in the English speaking Caribbean. Where many of the most important businesses are located.

Will be considered a fully developed country in 2020.

Those who said Puerto Rico is the economical capital of the Caribbean are wrong, because the island is backed with American support, it has no major products to back the economy if it became independent, the major product there is "food production (rum, fruits, etc) and tourism." Trinidad has all that plus petrolium, natural gas, etc.

  5. yes we are!!!

i learnt some things from the above answers to this question, thank yuh dey!!

  6. Economic capital of the Caribean is Puerto Rico. They have huge malls like Plaza Las Americas, San Patricio Plaza, Montehiedra Shopping Center,Plaza Caribe, 2 Outlet Shops, Bayamon`s Downtown Shopping , De Diego Paseo, ugh, there`s just too many to name. Plus there are lots of artisans throughout the island making and selling their wares. If you want to be more adventurous there are plenty of islands with good merchandise and prices, like, Dominican Republic, Antigua, St. Lucia, Trinidad-Tobabago, Barbados, Grenada, etc. The only other place with better prices than Puerto Rico is Isla Margarita, down by Curazao and Aruba. You can get quality merchandise at really very low prices. I loved best all the jewelry they sell like emeralds, rubies, pearls, gold, coral, etc. They sell dirt cheap and good quality. I believe customs allows you up tp $1,400 dollars of purchases per person. Anything above that you pay customs tax. The only drawback, depending on how you feel about it is that big mouth Chaves rules there, the island is part of Venezuela. You can get gas for a dollar a gallon but water will cost you about 4 dollars a gallon.
