Is Trojan spy ware really bad?

Question

i got a Trojan spy ware..in my computer but everything is running perfectly good like before. internet is working good. Everything.

Is there anyway that i can delete spy ware manually without downloading anything because i don't trust any free download sites (any free sites like make ur PC better cuz that's how i got spy ware into my computer...i was trying to download anti-virus and i somehow i got spy ware)

so ppl can u help me remove this please...

i know about deleting cookies and history from internet option but i don't think that doesn't help at all...

if u can help me i would b really really really really great-full to u guys...

AND is Norton Internet Security good anti-virus? if yes then... can norton 2007 help to remove the spyware...

Yes trojan's are very bad, a trojan is like cancer it may lay dormant or do it's task immediately. DO NOT download any anti-virus programs without full knowledge of the program. I recommend the Kilobotsky (or something like that) It is only $80.00 and it will protect your computer before a trojan even thinks about entering your computer. And it will also delete any trojans and harmful viruses that may already be on there.

Try to download popular antivirus software like AVG etc. It is a spyware as well as virus remover.Its trial version is for 30 days.If you have ares software you can get full by registering it.

Yes, manual removal is usually best. First you must know exactly what you have as "trojan" and "spy ware" are both generic terms.

A free program to scan your computer such as Ad-Aware should identify (and may remove) what you have exactly by a name, try a google search of that name with "removal instructions" and you should get somewhere.
