Is Tropical Storm Fay going to have any affect with the front moving East / NE?

I have notice that fay is moving NW up toward the FL tip and the Alabama/Mississippi area. There is a front moving East/NE as which is normal for the US. Do you think this front may cause fay to become stronger and/or make fay move the complete opposite direction

  1. It will impact Fay but only minor as Fay is expected to move out over the Florida panhandle and then a slight turn towards the NNE which will bring Fay over Southern Georgia. Only minor strengthening is predicted at this time however the National Hurricane Center is very concerned that Fay could go back out to sea, entering the Gulf of Mexico by Saturday.

If and when that happens the current front will come into play and Fay could begin a North Westerly track bringing her out over Alabama and Mississippi.

This is why these Hurricanes,Tropical Storms and Cyclone formations are so very hard to predict. Stay tuned. Go to NOAA.com for more info on Fay's track. There is alot of useful information there.
