  1. No, Turkey would like to be a member of EU, but until Turkey does not fulfil the human right issues, it will not be a member of the European Union according to the EU regulations.

  2. no

    first EU dont need Turkey..

EU instead make the union with Eslovenia, Eslovakia, Poland, Estonia, etc ex russian republics..because they are white good race and cheaper labor...-sound kind of racist but is the reality sorry-

EU now with the new law all the latino ilegal inmigrants go out..

but United States is checking all the EU because a lot of russian people with EU passports are coming to USA

  3. Does it really matter?...

We all are living on ¨Planet Earth, right?...

  4. I don't think so.

"The earliest date that Turkey could enter the EU is 2013"

  5. nOo..

    I cant stand them long..sorry

  6. no. because there are some countries (Germany, Austria...) which are against that

  7. No it isn't in the EU and I don't see a reason why it should be.

    Richard L:

Illiterate white supremacists walking around in swastika tattoos -that originates from the NON WHITE ancient India- and shaven heads, not surprisingly, can't even agree on who they call "white", which, is the case with Turks. What is "good (?) white race", are you aware, you racist lout, that most Europeans have plenty of mongoloid, and especially negr oid admixture?  I am bloody SICK, yes physically SICK, of seeing people talking about the "white race" and questioning the looks of others.

You, and other blithering fools, ignore all the individual and/or collective successes of the "non white" race. You belong to primitive, Germanic tribes, you can live happily eating your uncooked row meat and enjoying your privileged position in all the 'who's got more headlouse?' competitions. I prefer a nice walk in beautiful Babylonian gardens.

  8. No, Turkey is not in the EU. But it's not because Germany or Austria were against it, but the Turkish people voted against Turkey joining the EU right now. However, Turkey is still a membership candidate for the EU, and they might join in a couple of years. Currently, the EU has a lot to deal with the newly integrated countries from the east, who are "pro-forma" EU, as they don't have the common currency, the Euro, yet. They must comply with what is called the "stability pact" (keeping inflation within certain boundaries, for instance, besides of other financial treaties). Only then can they become "full members" of the EU.

The thing about Turkey has been postponed, but is still on the agenda. If the EU took Turkey into the union NOW, we'd have an upcoming economic power right at our doors. Sure nobody in the old European states wants this, so their joining is deliberatley delayed.

And, mind, not every European country agrees with EU policies. The Irish people voted against the EU constitutional treaty. Most EU governments didn't even let the people vote but ratified what seemed fit to them. The Irish people restarted the debate about what the European constitution shall be all about.

  9. no sorry just for 2 points
