  1. it depends on how much power you want to give them

if you are off the grid and living in idaho in a cabin , not too much

but if you are in a city and paying bills , its quite a bit

  2. In my daily life? The Federal Government has no influence over my daily life, or at least not that I can notice. So I'd say its under control. The State government is a little more involved in my daily life, and the local government is even more. But even all of them combined don't effect me that much. I wouldn't put up with it if they did. Last government interaction I had was about a month ago when I got a parking ticket for parking next to my friends house in a regular residential neighborhood. It pissed me off, so I payed in spare change.

  3. Based on the fact that the 110th congress has done less work than was done for the people in the last ten years, I would say they have way too much control at this time. The have passed less than two hundred laws in the last two year, of which 70 were post office names.

They way I see it; most of their time is gobbled up in media hype with respect to the elections. Make no mistake, the Democrats say they are working their election strategy, but most of us know it's a do nothing congress... Up to this point!

  4. Over control!

  5. Other than paying taxes on literally everything and coping with outrageous gasoline and utility bills...I really don't see anything else... Of course you have local and state laws...traffic laws, ordinances, etc. However, as far as federal government...kind of limited.

  6. Way over! And the tickle down into local levels is obscene.
