Is US humor cruel ?

To me US humor just seems very werid i am from Britain but i think it can be just as cruel if not even more cruel than British humor

I think British humor is more often weird sexual or off-color jokes

American humor is more often satire about people or groups

americans are just mean and stupid that way as a whole. we don't know what's funny, bent on war, and reject things based on a majority opinion and make a joke of anything that we're not fimialr with. but that's just a generalization. i hope u know we're not all like that. there's tons of good ppl here, just outweighed(in a literal sense it seems) by the bad.

but yeah, our "humor" is rather cruel.

Examples Honey??  Cuz they say British humor is dry and boring.  I say cuttin edge not cruel.  And it aint gonna last much longer with some many ultra sensitive people bitchin.  Can't even say r****d no more.
