They aare pretty much peer schools with similar requirements for admission. NYU has the better business school and USC has better engineering, but I agree with whoever siad go to the one on the coast you want to work on.

For the film aspect, definitely NYU. Be sure to check out Columbia and UCLA for the other programs, though.

which coast do you intend to work on? NYU is highly respected out east, while on the wrong coast, USC is more well-known.
