  1. That depends on the time of year, latitude within the northern hemisphere, and weather conditions at the time you are looking at.


  2. At one time, there is more uv raditation that goes through equator than in the northern and southern hemispheres. At the equator, the maximum amount of UV goes through to the Earth's surface as it has to travel through the least amount of atmosphere, which absorbs uv radiation from the sun. In the northern and southern atmospheres, the radiation is more spread out compared to the equator and it also has to travel through more atmosphere as the Earth is in the shape of a sphere. That is why the northern and southern hemispheres, such as north and south pole are much colder than the equator.
