  1. Pick up and read a book. In short, the UN is doing far better than the League of Nations because they did not punish the Germans. Now go do some real study, answers will not get you a job when you leave school

  2. yep!

and it is the 1930's all over again....but this time the facists are muslim not german christians!

  3. The United Nations in kind of the new League of Nations. The United Nations does more and is better structured than the League of Nations.

  4. the league of nations was weak. it didn't even have a military!

  5. In essence they are the same entity, but the League of Nations is like the precursor to the UN. It was started just after WWI, and failed miserably, basically because the US decided not to join, even though it was Woodrow Wilson who organized the entire organization.

The United Nations is somewhat succesful with social issues, but in the past decade has suffered signigicant problems with corruption and finance. I wouldn't say it is very successful with political issues because one of its rules is that it can't invade the national sovreignty of a nation. This means that even if the UN asks a nation to do something, the nation can say "no". And if the nations says no there isn't much the UN can do besides write an angry letter asking the nation to reconsider. It is one of the many flaws the modern UN has.

  6. The league of nations was the first name of the UN, it is the same thing different name go to the UN website to learn more.
