Is Universal Orlando also a working film studio?

It used to have a full time production Studio but in 2004 they shut down the production end of their business.  Since there there still has been filming there.  Ellen visits every year, then they filmed "Never Back Down" and "Bring it on all or Nothing" there last year.

So there is some filming that does happen but it isn't very often.

No, it does not.  Years ago, they had Nickelodeon Studios there, and occasionally filmed, but not for a long time.

I was there in 1999/2000 new years and I did not see any thing that made me thank it was. All I seen was rides and things teamed to the Universal Movies.
