not really. its kinda in a few places. in the city mainly. you could catch a tram to the beach.

Assuming you mean the city campus then it is about 10-12 kms from the beaches, depending on which beach you want ofcourse. Traffic is Adelaide is almost never a problem.  Maybe a 20 minute drive. Too far to walk comfortablely on a hot day.
