Is University of toronto and university of british columbia hard to get in? ?

I am now in G10 in alberta calgary, and might finish my high school with a canadian highschool diploma. What are the admission requirement. Does the university also look at extra curricular activity? or any community service? Is it similar from the USA?

UofT is fairly hard to get into.

For sciences, you should have over 80% average- around 85% is best.

For humanities, high 70s will do.

For business, 80s is good.

I'm not too sure about UBC.

Extra curriculars will help with scholarships and such.

I know for life sciences (since that is where I'm applying this year) that you need at least 85%. The prerequisites are Calculus, Advanced Functions, Biology, Chemistry, English, and Physics is recommended.
