For a 17 yr olds birthday party I'd say go for it... It's a bit noisey, but fun and not outrageously priced.  Have a great time!!!

I eat there all the time, I think it would be fine. The prices are on par with what you would pay at other casual dining restaurants like TGIFridays.

I would think so.  All the Uno's are a good place for a large group.  While the food is not my cup of tea (not crazy about deep dish) I always have fun when I go there with a group.  I think the older teen set would have a blast.

It can be pricey -- but most places like this are not cheap.

Call up the Uno Chicago Grill restaurant that you plan on going by asking if they welcome birthday party there.  And you can check with them to see if they provide complimentary birthday cake for the birthday boy or girl.  (That's one way to find out if the restaurant like bigger crowd of customers. Some restaurants like people to go for birthday parties, so they use complimentary birthday cake as an incentive to entice the customers.)  Ask them to fax you a menu, so you will find out if their prices are suitable for your budget.
