  1. And why would a large indian population be a problem????

  2. Uxbridge is very close to all the areas you mention, so because of north-west London's urban sprawl practically anywhere has a fairly substantial asian population close by. Uxbridge (or Harrow for that matter) itself is not particularly an "Asian area" in the way Southall is, but there are still plenty of Asians around so you won't feel alone.

  3. If you visit upmystreet (search), it will tell you the demographics - e.g. whether people drink beer or sherry, watch ITV or not.  It's called ACORN.

  4. its mixed....so when your in uxbride next smell the air...bit of curry...bit of chinese...and sunday lunch...

  5. Uxbridge has a very small asian population compared to Southall, Slough or Hounslow. Southall is almost entirely Indian/Pakistani, parts of Slough are approaching 60% asian immigrants; much less so in Hounslow although there is still a large immigrant population.

  6. From my visits there, I would say that Wembley does have a large Indian population/culture,  Southall has a  very high concentration of Asians, many work at Heathrow. So to answer your question, I would say Unxbridge has no where near the number of Asians as say Southall, Uxbridge also has an excellent shopping centre, plus very close to the M25 and an underground station.
