In a 32" LCD, the two top rated LCDs, for BOTH performance and reliability are Panasonic Viera and Sony Bravia. A bit less expensive, but still very good quality is the Toshiba Regza followed, perhaps, by Sharp Aquos and Samsung. If you can't buy one of these name brands, wait until you've save up a little more and buy quality, or drop down to a 26" in the same brands.
