Is VMK central in the REAL walt disney world closed???? why did they shut it down???

i might be going this summer- just to go VMK central. and now i have heard they closed the dumb thing!!!??? is it true?????? i hope not plz help!!!!!! i hope it is not cloosed. will they open it again?

Yes it is closed.  From the explanation at the time "VMK Central" was always scheduled to be a temporary item in the parks.  It had 2 main purposes.  The first it was in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of Disneyland and the "Happiest Homecomings" promotion.  The second was to promote VMK.  Unless something dramatic changes it will not be coming back.

Disneyland's VMK Central closed in June 2007.

The WDW's VMK Central closed Down in September 2007
