Is Valentines Day An Actual Holiday

To me valentines day just seems like a consumer holiday, stores market like crazy about valentines day to get people to go buy bears and candy and valentines. What do you think? I know the meaning of valentines day I just want your opinion on this.

  1. It is a holiday this year; it falls on Saturday which is an off day around the world. It was a day created by Hallmark to sell more of their cards. hats off to those marketing guru's who made it a day where you have no choice but to spend money on things that are over priced and show no affection.


  2. Its not celebrated as official holiday anywhere around the world. its just a celebration of love.
