Is Vancouver an ideal place for a single female to relocate? Are there many jobs?

looking for a great place to move where there is lots to do. Some place safe for a female, mildest winters and ideal for raising a family. Additionally a great job market. ive narrowed my choices to Vancouver and Toronto . Any other suggestions or vote on this?

Go to Monster.ca and do a job search in your chosen field of work.. Than, do the same at Workopolis.ca and compare the results for the two cities. There are more jobs in Toronto.

All I can tell you is that both cities have some unsafe neighborhoods. However, Vancouver has a much safer air quality than Toronto.  Rent is cheaper than Toronto, but to buy is more expensive.  In Vancouver you don't get the harsh winters of Toronto, neither the suffocating humid summers but you do get a lot of rain. Some people don't like that.

vancouver is a great place but toronto has lots more to do, for me, i guess your children would like vancouver more but adults like toronto better

Well, the weather is certainly mild in Vancouver.  TO has wicked winters.  

I wouldn't call either of them ideal for raising a family or "safe", but it'd be easier to meet straight men in TO.
