  1. ok, even though she wasn't naked, the pictures aren't artistic. well at least not for someone her age. 15! i know my mom would NEVER let me even pose that suggestivley at 15. even if they were considered "artistic" at the time, it's not an image for Disney. it's just the tip of the iceberg. first was the dress at the oscars, or whatever that was. now miley dyed her hair all dark and wears too much makeup. she looks like a hooker! sorry, my opinion but seriously, no matter what the family wants to portray her as, if she keeps this image, its just contradicting all the positive.

and the pictures with her ex-bf don't help.

  2. If she were actually nude, they'd have a child p**n lawsuit. She's wearing a sheet - all you can see is her shoulder and a little bit of her back (she's probably got a tube top on that we can't see).

Don't be like the media and blow it out of proportion.

  3. Don't forget nudity and s*x are totally different!

  4. Yes.  And her father was irresponsible for letting her go through with it.  My daughters watch her tv show, but I'm not a fan of hers, and I'm not amused by these photos.  It is not artistic as some think.  It's creepy.  Any grown person who likes this is a pedophile in my book.  Are we seeing the beginning stages of the next Spears or some other celebrity who lets fame get to them?  All signs point to yes.  Children should not be exposed to this type of lifestyle.  I guess her dad doesn't mind his own daughter being exploited for money.  I am above money.  My daughters are being raised in a respectable manner.

  5. she wasnt nude. and it was very artistic.

  6. Okay first off she wasn't nude

    she was wearing pants

and um haven't you never seen backless dresses

well i guess those ppl are s***s too

she was prob wearing a special bra or something

    and no

miley is very popular and vanity fair wanted ppl to buy there magazine

  7. No, Vanity Fair is not perverted for asking Miley Cyrus to pose for their magazine.  Young actresses, models and singers have been posing "nude" for Vanity Fair for years.  It's not anything new.

And they could get away with it a) because, as one answerer pointed out, it wasn't nude.  Although that was the implication of some of the photos, she was not physically naked and her genetelia were not visible - thus she was not nude; and b) her father, who also posed, approved.  If the parent of a minor signs a legal notice saying that they approve, then if the minor wishes to proceed with the contract she or he has all legal backing.

This is also how Kirsten Dunst got her role in Interview with a Vampire, and Ashley Tisdale is able to take her music tour around the world in a corset.

  8. no not totally nude. they had her/her parents permission to take photos.. funny how they waited until dad left to do that one.

  9. Exploitation.

  10. shes not nude she has a sheet around her
